"Im new to model/profile pics.
Only ever done sporting events and family pics and landscapes.
Thats why asking for volunteers. "
Surely a sporting event / landscape takes more skill and better equipment than a profile photo? |

A hint from someone who does have a studio, and is paid for my work.
Join a modelling site like purpleport or model mayhem to hone your skills. There's an abundance of new models and photographers offering to share time to help others improve.
That's how I started out. |

So how can you be 'doing professional pictures'?
Without looking it up can you tell me what are 'hyperfocal distance' and 'sync speed' and if shooting a studio model and using a 'hair light' how many stops extra exposure would you normally set that light (compared to the key light) for a) blonde hair b) dark hair?
Just wondering like?

I'm starting out as an amateur photographer for freelance
If fab members wanted pics taking I'd help as I have done for friends on here, but I've made sure that I have done examples of my work on my profile so people can see if I'd be for them or not and they're done by self timer so easily do to give people a representation of what you can offer |
