York Easter Saturday Fabcrawl - 15th April 2017

YORK FABCRAWL EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA!
Following the Christmas Fabcrawl, I am organising a second one on Easter Saturday, 15th April, starting at 7pm. The weather's hopefully going to be warm, so it'll take in 4 or 5 riverside bars and city centre pubs with nice beer gardens.
All are welcome, but numbers of men may need to be limited/vetted to ensure a good balance of genuine people.
It's purely a vanilla event of course, but it'll be an enjoyable way to meet egg-citing new friends, celebrate the end of Lent with a few drinks, and have a great time in good company.
Add your names below or message me if you have any questions, or if you'd like to suggest a favourite bar.
Details of bars and times will be sent out two days beforehand.

I'm sure Fab's male/female ratio will shortly redress the balance. There's 15-17 people signed up after the first week with 2 1/2 weeks still to go, but if everyone can try and put the Fabcrawl on their status once over the next fortnight it will help get the message out to even more people.  |

Any couples or ladies who fancy coming on this wonderful Easter event but are unsure about booking a B&B or hotel, I can offer a double en-suite within strolling distance from the venue. Also a double futon (separate room of course) if we get busy.
No ulterior motives of course, unless......

Love to join you all, but sadly I am working. Sigh, the joy of retail. It would be nice to bump into some of you at the mini social though, just put my name down for that. (Well, names. going with my partner in crime hopefully, we are bags.of.fun) come say hello. have a smashing night on the fab crawl, I'm sure it will be cracking and an eggcellant time had by all! ?? Don't forget to invite your best Fabfriends and also add a status update about the Fabcrawl (I've seen one or two of you do this already - many thanks).
Which side of town do people enjoy most for a night out? I'm assuming the Minster side of the river - but let me know if you have a strong preference for the bars on Micklegate (or Bishopthorpe Rd).

Will do. I'll send out the route and approximate timings in a week's time, two days before the pubcrawl. It'll be on the Minster/Shambles side of the river as I think that gives us the best choice of good bars etc. I've got a few pubs in mind, but welcome any suggestions (message me privately if you have).
I'm trying to choose bars that tick as many boxes as possible from: lively but with room for us, beer garden in case it's a nice evening, suitable for all ages, good surroundings, central and on a sensible route that's not to far from the next pub etc. |

David, added. Probably close list to men now unless there's a last minute influx of single ladies.
I'll be sending out the provisional list of bars and approx timings on Thursday evening. Plan to get to the first bar between 7-8pm if you can, although there should be no problem in joining us later - and ask for my phone number if you think you'll be joining later in the evening just in case the pubcrawl goes 'off piste'. |

I believe that most folk will agree that soooo many on Fab are fantisists, wannabes and generally wastes of skin. But the Fabcrawl proved that there are some absolutely great people on here. So from the heart of my bottom thanks for you guys who turned up and also a big one to Rob for arranging it. |
