There are a lot of people coming who I don't know what they look like. I always have a hard time putting names to faces. Think I'd be popping by for a sweeping visit. Will try to stay for as long as I can before sleep overtakes me.

Lots of people have social nerves and it is understandable.

However, the Tea Parties are very informal and relaxed. And, as I said to a very nervous person before the first one, you have to remember you are coming to meet people who WANT to meet you

My post was in reference to his status - the 'outfit' referenced being, I imagine, what he chooses to wear. No one is required to dress up - it would have been mentioned by now if that was the case.
