As crude as it may be, people do judge.
Think about it:
(i) an invitation to meet in a fairly short timeframe from someone who has little detail on his profile and cannot accommodate.
(ii) an invitation from someone with a complete profile, a decent photo or two and who posts in the right area of the forums.
Who do you think has more chance of success?

because we would expect someone to put a little effort into saying what they are about, what they are looking for and what they can bring to a meet.
To put up such a simple profile and expect people to bite is ridiculous to say the least. There's none of us desparate (well there might be one or two ).

firstly, welcome to the forums, good luck with your search.. maybe look in the meet today section, you might get lucky..
you have pics so anyone can see you.. sell yourself more, what you bring to a meet etc..

It would take an awful lot of courage for someone to come and meet you when they know so little about you. The reason I mentioned the timeframe earlier is that for alot of women, it takes time to feel comfortable enough to meet.
Besides which, would you really want to meet someone who didn't take their time to establish that foundation and who meets strangers so quickly? |

Yes, what you write could be a load of twaddle but more info comes out in conversation and there needs to be a feeling of security at least.
I think it's a tall order to be looking for new contacts to meet at such short notice.
