There are two different socials held in York. That's why there are different sets of hosts. One is usually called the main York social and that was held Friday March 3rd. The other one is the York mini social which will be may 5th X.

As a co host to the big social we also sometimes add not verified people but this is after talking to a host and seeing profiles. We'd never accept somebody onto the list without either of those things. We have a responsibility to our other party guests

As retired hosts of the big York social as it's known we did add unverified people but only after chatting with them and obviously being able to view a profile. Like has been said before safety of guests is important. Would you invite a blank page to an event????

I think it's a good idea that profiles of people are checked by the hosts .There are too many fake profiles lately on fab and hidden ones or with no pictures on .people like to see who is going to socials .I know I do .

We didn't ask to see pictures when doing the single male guest list for the socials, we just chatted to verified and unverified and saw how they came across.

A blank page does not really invite people to start chatting xx
