what sort of pub would you prefer for this sort of meeting?
a quite small pub or something a bit busier/noisier.
would you be conscious about the non-swingers around you who could listen to your conversations? or do you just dont care?

I think that Larry and I would be quite interested in attending, depending on when it is. He is often working away.
We have run quite successful socials in Glasgow before and always try to find somewhere with a free/cheap function room with DJ. Privacy seems to be massively important, even when socialising. |

I'd certainly be interested in a social ..... often it's a good way just to chat with folks without any pressure being on.
Where would you be thinking of holding it? If in Lincoln then at least there are lots of hotels etc for people to stop over if they wish.
If it were to be in Lincoln I don't have any problems with non-swingers being around .... I'm sure we'll grown up enough to know when to be discreet and to be honest I think a nice environment, even if busy, is more fitting than a quiet run down dirty pub. Just my humble opinion.

its only a social and if people dont want to meet single guys then they can tell them - I dont see it as a problem as we all have our preferences |

Tony&Carol, the Pride of Lincolns Sth West Lincoln situated just off the A46 Lincoln bypass. If you travel Stamford-Newark-Lincoln take 2nd exit Large r/about at bypass then follow rd till an awkward junction getting ready for revamp take a right PoL on your left yeh.  |

Personally we're not really bothered but know some people are, therefore the worst place to be is a "quiet small pub" where a large group of strangers stand out and the odd few locals and bar staff have nothing better to do but ear wig.
Much better somewhere like The Pride Of Lincoln which is easy to find and is also attached to a Lodge where strangers and groups are nothing new.
