butlins 80s adult weekend

Never been to an adult weekend (though I'd like to go on one) but I've been to butlins several times with the kids and the facilities are great!
Heard the adult weekends are great too!

God, I worked at Burkina in Bognor many years ago. Some of the weekends were very wild. Unfortunately because I was working I couldn't join in but was fun watching.  |

Have only been to the ones in Minehead but always have a great laugh and a liver that hates me by the end . Do a shop in supermarket before you get there for some alcohol for chalet if you can . Also if it's anything like Minehead all the chalets look the same so we write the block name and chalet number on the inside of our wristbands so we don't forget where we are staying (it has happened ) |

I went to Electric Dreams weekend in December at Bognor and had fab time met so many great girls. just shame about lack of fun in the bedroom but still had great time xx

Been to the Bootleg Ball in skeg last few years and even managed to arrange a little social gathering of a few from here that were going. Always an epic drinking weekend and a great laugh....unfortunately looks like i am not making it this year  ..... so may have to find a different to go to later in the year |

We go to the bootleg ball in Skegness at the end of Feb. Always a good weekend and we normally have a fab social on the first afternoon. Mrs Spicy tends to have quite a lot of fun too.

Been to the 70s weekends in skegvegas a few times. A good time was had by all. Never seen any trouble,everyone there for the right reasons. Have fun,have a few beers and anything else is a bonus! |

Went to Skegness for a weekend with Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Colin Blunstone and Courtney Pine.A great lineup as all these weekends are catering for many tastes. I missed The Crazy World of Arthur Brown as I had arranged to meet a couple through the forum. At the time of writing, it's the only meet I've had in 4 years, and not in a club. The lady was very happy to have her husband and another guy to attend to her, I kept my no alcohol rule when meeting. Difficult in that environment as there are so many bars!
My feeling is if a meet is arranged on here, then all should be fine. Everybody knows the rules. I didn't pursue the many opportunities that may have arisen with many ladies.
I do recommend the larger appartments as impromptu parties can be arranged. I cook, so happy to do so if I can share accommodation. The restaurants are expensive.

Moved up to Bamber for a year. Go to Skeg bootleg ball every year normally. Travelling this year be different. Usually a few FAB folk attending. |

I went to a soul weekender at Bognor. The music and vibes were fantastic. All the sounds from our youth, and going back to an era when people loved to dance was bliss. The accommodation has improved and everyone got merry without getting plastered. A truly great weekend. |

We've been to to 3 adult weekends this year already and going to back to 2000's in November. They are brill. Loads of live music disco fancy dress laughs more laughs and if lucky some fab friends to share the weekend with or st least some sexy moments |

Normally in Lincs but working up this way for a year. There is a group that last few years have gone to Bootleg Ball in February. I normally put up a thread in December time. Would be happy to discuss. |

Have gone to the folk festival in Skeggy(older crowd) the alternative festival in Minehead & in November will be our 2nd year at Shiiine festival in Minehead.
People automatically assume “Adults only” means a naughty weekend when what it really means is there are no kids allowed!
Every year we put a meet up saying we’re going & we always put who’s near on when we get there. Last years Shiiine we were aware of a single guy (selling drugs) & we did meet up with a couple last year but sadly they’d had too much booze on board to hold a convo let alone anything else.
We love Butlins we go for the music, it’s an indoor festival, the weather can’t spoil, they have a great lineup & a good pool party, the accommodation is good too.
As far as Fabs concerned it’s been hopeless, could just be us or maybe our music tastes don’t appeal to those in the lifestyle, we are though crossing fingers for hooking up at Shiiine this year, however we’ll have a blast regardless. Anyone else going btw? |
