We are in Newcastle for 2 nights looking for a bit of fun in our hotel
We are doing tho races on the Friday, any other suggestions what to do and where to go?? |

You could try clubf if you like a nice friendly club ? Or if you check out the local up dates would be sure that you'd be able to meet up with some friendly people around the pink triangle ?

Hope you know somewhere good to eat before your evening ?
Steak ? Miller and carters ?
Indian ? Annesas ? ( buffet )
Chinese ? Stowell st ?

As above has said pink triangle is a lot of fun good mix of folk !
Grey st has a slightly older crowd not blue rinses just 35 +with some decent bars, Barluga, Harry's, Lady greys etc.Bigg markets a bit of a mess and the haymarket is Deffo an older crowd.
Food wise the earlier suggestions were spot on although we do like dabawal for an Indian, it's near grey st.

"Thanks both of the above, yes very helpful, pink triangle we have done before, never heard of grey street, sounds good older is more our crowd lol" ..if doing grey street its not swinger packed like oink ... be good area fir you and vanilla friends for sure ... another bar to look out for is "pleased to meet you" .. ... ..newish and great music too .. .. ..

Grey street is good, also around the monument you have a few bars, loads of new restaurants have opened up. you also have the Botanist which is a good bar for your friends.. walk down grey street to harrys and pleased to meet you,, then head towards the big market its mental in there lol and passed the train station. to be honest its all good |
