As an aside, (and not cos I'm too lazy to check the forums), is there a healthy social (as in event) type scene in "your" area?

Here in South Wales (aka "Gods Country") you cant move for tripping over one, daytimes, evenings, club invasions, camping weekends.

Just curious as there are 9 in the next 6 weeks or so around here, seeing this made me wonder what its like around the country?
