"Hi does anyone know of any social events planned in Preston in the near future. Would be good to meet some nearby like minded folk."
There used to be regular socials at a pub in Preston, think it was called Oblivion, or something similar. Not sure if they still do them, but may be worth doing a search on the forums. |

I don't think they do them now. There also used to be a social in the pub opposite the railway station but I think that may have finished too. I was wondering the same as I'm there on Tuesday next week |

If I had the time,I would try and arrange something myself, but time is something I don't have a lot of at the moment. Oh well if any Preston people want to meet for a social or even go for a social pint, feel free to give me a shout. |

They stopped doing them last year as far as I know the reason they gave was too many swingers clubs in the north west now |

Shame that as Blackpool and Chorley surely aren't that many. There's a new one opening in Preston too soon

Pity that as although I'm looking forward to the new club opening in Preston, socials are a nice way to meet people first before clu visits, or arranged meets. |

Dave used to run the event. It was on Wednesday Night. It finnished more than 2 years ago. I was a regular attendee. You are correct about the competition from local sex clubs but at it's peak there were around a dozen people there in The Oblivion Bar.
The bar only opens Thursday Friday and Saturday Nights now. I still go in fairly regularly as does Dave, when he's not in Portugal.
I could try and persuade the management to reopen say once a month on. Wednesday, if there's enough interest.  |

Hi. I used to host the weekly swingers social nights at Oblivion. I'm afraid I stopped them a couple of years ago due to other commitments. Many happy memories of meeting some great people though.
