Going back for my second visit to Glastonbury but think I may have missed the headonistic scene last year can any of you help??

Any Pole Dancing / Peep Show / Sex Party type venues are/were "a theme". So yeah, there were pole dancers/entertainers there, but there was no actual sex or anything that would require an adult license LOL. Saying that, people did seem to think some of it was real, having read the online brochure, and complained about it all, having never actually set foot in that part of the festival.
Same way that Arcadia is described as a giant spider, but it's really a bunch of old aircraft parts. It's really there, but it's not a real spider, it's not going to crawl into your sleeping bag at night. |

100% true.
Found it in 2009 and didn't realise; Thought people were queueing to get OUT of the festival for some reason. hahaha. Found it again last year when I was trying to take a shortcut that didn't exist anymore!

No, that's part of the fun. Like solving the clues and going down the Rabbit Hole.
Since 2009 I've seen pole dancers at The Drag Strip, Shangri-La Hub, Snake Pit, Fish & Tits, Bassline Circus, Croissant Neuf Bandstand, Circus Big Top, Salon Carousel, Pussy Parlure, Silver Hayes main stage, and on the back of a rickshaw... (off the top of my head). |
