Hi all,
I want to try and organise a SE London/Kent social. I`m willing to find a venue and make all the arrangements. It would be on a weekend, to ensure most people can attend. But i`ve never organised a social before, so just need advice. Anyone know of any suitable venues? Any advice would be good.

That would depend on where your planning to hold said event. I would suggest somewhere near a mainline station for those who want a drink/don't drive.
I would have thought any pub that is large enough would suffice. Going to the trouble of hiring a separate room in a pub would mean charging and you would need the deposit. Plus it may put people of.
Just my thoughts.

Hi,
I know of a couple of big pubs close in the SE London/North Kent area. Not had much response yet. So will wait and see is interested for making any formal plans.
