Exeter Social for all, Saturday 30th April … 8.00 till Midnight
Following the success of our recent Exeter socials, the venue has invited us back for yet another social evening, the venue is a vanilla pub so naughtiness should be restricted as much as possible.
Fedback from the various socials suggested more seating room was needed, I have spoken to the Landlord and he has offered to open the Dining Room off the main bar as a seating area where people can chat in relative quiet.
This is purely a chance to get together in a social atmosphere, put names to faces and make connections for the future or if you want to take someone home with you, I am sure no one will be stopping you.
The evening is open to ALL but we do ask that you should be presentable and respectful.
There will be entertainment running from 8.30 till 11.30.
The evening is free, the bar is not.
The exact address will be released to interested parties in the week before the event.
If you would like to attend please register your interest below, further information will be released to those people in due time.
You can help by telling your friends and getting them to register interest… self promotion is a wonderful thing, the more we get chatting about it, the better it will be on the night… |

Sadly I have to report that the pub is closing on wednesday so therefore the social appears to be off unless we can find another venue

Ladies and Gentlemen.
We have been so lucky in our choice of venue over these last few months. Unfortunately that luck has come to an end. The sad news reached us tonight that the venue we have been using will close on Wednesday.
This is certainly bad news for all of us, and especially those of you that have arranged childcare, accommodation or transport.
Rest assured that everything is being done to help this social go ahead as planned, but in another venue.
We really want to see our community come together again, so please, don't be rash. Allow us the opportunity to get things back on track, and we will update the forum by 21:00 on 26 Apr 16.
Sorry for any confusion or frustration, we are doing our best.

Sounds like it is going to be a great night... well done on finding a new venue at such short notice!
Alas, we can't make it as will be out of the country this weekend... shame as a load of people we'd love to meet.

Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for your patience over the past few days. Unfortunately previous posts cannot be deleted, but I CAN clarify the situation and remove any confusion.
A venue HAS been arranged within Exeter for the social on Saturday 30 Apr 16. So the social is most definitely ON 
Please continue to spread the word, and details will be sent out to everyone that signs up via this forum. It's looking like the busiest social for a while, and as the saying goes, the more the merrier.  |
