There was one planned a few years ago in Edinburgh but sadly someone called the venue and it was exposed as a swingers event and the Hotel cancelled the booking.

Good luck with your plans, be vigilant and don't let that out you off. Many, many are successful nights

Ta for info much appreciated...the hotel obviously saw it as worth losing the funds for Reputational risk...

I'd say you'd need to set up social group name & maybe see if anyone has hotel recommendations for an independent property as opposed to a chain hotel.

I have organised events for over 1000 people before ......I think this could be fun X

Everyone can be there no mater what gender/sexual preference/relationship status.....

IT WOULD NOT BE A BALLROOM FOR SWINGING...that would be after the ball or in your rooms.......of course sexy dancing, stolen kisses, dimmed light dances and some twirls essential DURING THE BALL xxxx.....

maybe a kiss card as opposed to a dance card ......or both

Middle probably makes the most sense.

Probably £50pp. I'm not sure how much this type of thing generally costs in the UK.

Great idea in principle, luv the idea of a masked ball.

I'd say The Midlands would widen the appeal location wise. Choose somewhere with good rail links.

Payment wise ~ if I came on my own I'd probably be looking around the £60/70 bracket as would have to fund accommodation. If I came with someone I'd be prepared to pay a little more.

In fact I've organised many events like this before

Organise it in a hotel then any naughtiness can happen behind closed doors

Charity auction for sex toys Nights in clubs. Sexy lingerie. Get companies on board like love honey

Entertainment can be a mix of fun and sexy. For example pole dancers. Not seedy club pole dancers. Got to be a good drag act ect

It would have to be held mid uk. Manchester Liverpool Leeds area

And I'd probably pay £50 a ticket £500 a table

You need to research 'club lash' in Manchester, they run events every month at the hellfire club, a couple of those are mask events, once or twice each year. That's your competition.

I like the idea of a mask party, I have a costume that's never been seen in public.

We would love this, a proper high class one, ideally in a hotel where you can stay after the ball, somewhere central would be best to get the most people coming

As for cost, if you get it in a nice hotel I think 150 to 200 quid a couple including your hotel room would be a decent deal

If you held it at a hotel. I'm sure they would do a deal.for those staying. Or even better a caste and use a number of local hotels. We would also help out if needed promoting or point of contact or whatever we could do. Probably have a few friends that we know would be interested to....

It has to be near a transport hub

London (will get most addendees as majority of people have less distance to travel ) and has the attraction of lots of other naughtiness (Amsterdam, Manchester and Edinburgh as alternatives )

No hotel will want you bonking on the dance floor , so can I suggest something like

Black tie private lounge/hall/tent at say kempton races (evening meeting) + band, then everyone walks (short taxi) round the corner to the hellfire club until 6 in the morning

I would be interested , travelled to the one in Jaydees the other year too.

Fabulous evening even if I was out titted by Tina and left with paint smeared on my breasts

Location- middle- have a few ideas as been to a lot of black tie events over the years.

Price- realistically you need to charge upwards of £50 prob more like £70 to break even.

Price per ticket, no discounts.

Decide on a Charity/charities to benefit from an auction.

Tables of between 8 &12 work best.

Black tie- no indecent clothes- emphasis on class and tease! xx

I had to save just to buy my ticket for swingfields and that's my holiday for the year so spending £200 swinging related for me is a no go.

Please not London. It is so expensive to get there and to stay there. Choose somewhere else that has good rail links.

I can try and convince Marc to go, but I won't have a chance if it's in London. I'll end up there on my own.

London (will get most addendees as majority of people have less distance to travel ) and has the attraction of lots of other naughtiness (Amsterdam, Manchester and Edinburgh as alternatives )

No hotel will want you bonking on the dance floor , so can I suggest something like

Black tie private lounge/hall/tent at say kempton races (evening meeting) + band, then everyone walks (short taxi) round the corner to the hellfire club until 6 in the morning "

Only point I'd make is that for the many people living outside London, the cost of hotels etc is astronomical! I'm guessing venues, dinners etc would be far more expensive too - putting the whole thing out of the budget of most forumites who live outside London! Unless, of course, the London area forumites would be willing to welcome those from other areas as house guests to make it affordable? I've had fabbers in my house as guests quite a few times - it's great fun!

Ps - re my house-sharing comment above! If we decide to hold it in the Manchester area in a venue which doesn't fit loads of people in overnight - I live 45 mins from Manchester and have a 4 bedroom house - so can fit umpteen people in for a sleep-over if you bring a sleeping bag and pillows! That way more people can afford it!

If you wanted a sexy/classy theme there's scope in something like Carnevale. Personally I think a city would be better than anywhere countryside just for accessibility and hotels, whether that's London or elsewhere.

This is an amazing idea! Suited and booted for the dance.

Id happily pay £50-80 for the event. I do think that a stand alone venue would be a better idea as a hotel would get very tired very quickly of the 'other activities' not to mention the other guests being disturbed. At least a separate venue would allow a touch of discretion for all involved

Liverpool and Manchester aren't in Lancashi

Yes I know that. But they are the two closest cities to the centre with good transport links

Wigan is in Lancashire for us proper wiganers (never can get used to calling it Greater Manchester) Do it in Wigan

Once we've got a set date and venue etc we can all put it up on our statuses and as a meet! Some of the ladies and couples have quite a few admirers I'm sure - so it should get noticed pretty easily!
