the more the merrier

Thank you all for replying it looks like we are well on the way to having enough people interested and having a good mix of singles and couples x
The social will be midweek maybe a Wednesday or Thursday depending on the pub we choose x |

We are up for it. We tried to organise a social some time ago and found that it was a bit of a flop because of short notice and guys expecting more than a meet up so lots of drop outs.
It will be nice to put faces to profiles, we already know what your bits look like. |

I'll get the weekend out of the way and then look at working out a date that will give everyone plenty of notice x
I was thinking of meeting up at 7:30/8:00
that way we still have time to get to know anyone who might have to leave early for any reason x |

We scoped out a few venues in/very close to town centre tonight..
Will most likely be happening in march and on a schoolnight (wed or thur) !!
Thanks to everyone who has posted so far, this will be happening - so let your Fab friends know theres a social on the way!!
Fallout will post more details soon. When I have untied him and finished abusing him, that is

Hello, the date for the social will be Wednesday March 16th. I think that should give us plenty of time for other fellow Fabbers to join in and make it an even better event x |

The plan is that when we have a good number of people interested, Debs and myself will sit down and send out private messages to all those invited, we want to try and get a good mix of couples and single men and women. No one wants it to be a dude fest lol x |

Messages will be sent out this week to let people know the venue, date and time
The messages will come from _hortie and my couples profile which is Ren and Stimpy x
As we have said before we are going to try as best we can to balance the numbers of couples and singles, so if you don't get a message that will be why and not because we dislike you in any way lol x

I didn't realise it was an invite only type of thing!!!!! I get that you don't want it to become a sausage fest but surely the idea of a social is just that. Likeminded people getting to know one another over a few drinks. Or am I getting the wrong idea here?  |
