Hi guys...This isn't official as yet but we have a closed venue which is walking distance to Leeds train station...Its inbetween a very large carpark and a hotel..and walking/staggering distance of several other hotels...It will be a pay on the door event...but to cover the costs we need you!!...If those interested can fill this post then we can get the wheels in motion  |

SHAME YOU CANT GO AHEAD WITH THIS,,,,COME ON LEEDS WE THOUGHT YOU WERE A PARTY PLACE,,,YOU NEED TO SORT THIS OUT AND START BACKING THE HOST`S,LEEDS HAS ALWAYS BEEN WELL KNOWN FOR HOSPITALITY FRIENDLINESS AND ONE OF THE PARTY CAPITALS IN THE NORTH,YOU NEED TO FIND A VENUE WILLING TO GIVE YOU THEIR PLACE FREE OF CHARGE,FIND IT AND THEY WILL COME XX GOOD LUCK FROM THE NEWCASTLE SOCIAL XX  |

Would be good if this could go ahead. Even if everyone could just meet up in a pub. There seemed to be alot of interest i am sure alot of people would turn up. |

THEY NEED TO STICK WITH IT,,MOST PEOPLE ADD THEIR NAMES IN THE LAST WEEK BEFORE THE SOCIAL,ONCE THEY SEE THE STATUSES CHANGING TO "LOOKING FORWARD TO SOCIAL" EVERYONE WANTS TO BE THERE XX |

How odd. The York one only charges £5pp to cover venue, dj, and a buffet. Must have been a pricey venue! |

The venue wanted £400 up front for the night...we don't do socials to make money but we don't want to be out of pocket either. |

I'm sure there would be alternative venues in Leeds. Doesn't have to be posh!
I used to go to Leeds socials a few years ago. They were usually held in a pub, but people have stopped arranging them now. Shame. |

There's loads of decent establishments in leeds city centre or just outside that can do accomodate for this. I have no organisational skills or the time to pull something like this off. Plus I'd be greedy and only invite couples and single ladies and the single men I wouldn't feel threatened by a |

Folks wanted a city centre closed venue social close to train station and hotels so we picked what we thought would be the best venue that would hold upto 150 people...we've checked out other bars but most had silly rules to comply with.... |

But they replied to have it a closed venue they would have to charge?
So the prices of the drinks have gone down? Last time I was there, about 10 months ago the prices were city center prices |

Venue is under new management and is exclusive to swingers on social nights |
