The next York social is on 29th January.

Start 730

We have a private venue with DJ

Small buffet,

Free raffle,

Theme, black and white (if you want to dress up)

The price for entry to cover cost

Cpls £5

Singles £5

The venue has good parking on the main rd (don't park on side streets)

The venue is 10 mins from city centre so most hotel are good.

Single we have limited spaces please contact Paul.64

The venue is now under new management..... are the new management team still happy to have us, as they have turned away one group that i know of because of the adult nature of their evening (which often filled an otherwise empty pub on a weekday night)

When I booked some rooms for friends for another event in York in January I found that the two central York Travelodges (one in Piccadilly and one in Micklegate) were almost half the price of other comparable city centre hotels, so it's worth trying that company's website as they don't list on the most popular comparison sites.

I've had a room at the Micklegate Travelodge in the past and it was a great room - large room and bed, very clean, en suite, no hassle taking guests upstairs, bar in foyer - I'm sure the Piccadilly one will be the same with the exception that it has an adjoining pub - the Postern Gate (a JD Wetherspoons pub so good for cheap food and drink)
