Hi all,
So this is an idea me and my partner had. We are completely new to the site, scene and haven't been to any of the clubs yet.
We are considering hosting a night for local newbies only so anyone who is feeling unsure or nervous, possibly at our house or possibly at a bar, the idea being for us all to meet in a very relaxed environment.
Hopefully make some friends who we could go to clubs with and just generally offer each other support and advice, and maybe have some fun if the mood takes anyone,
Thinking max of 8 people with a mix of couples single females and single men.
Any feedback on this idea or if you would be interested just give us a shout.

I would advise against holding it in your own home as there are some nutters on here. Keep it in a public place but think about the venue as the conversation throughout the night will no doubt be of an adult nature, limit the numbers and arrange by pm. Do not put the venue on the public forum. Expect people to not turn up even if they say they will.
Good luck and feel free to drop me a pm with the details. If I'm free I'll pop by for a quick drink. |

it's down to you on the numbers, no doubt you will be in-undated by single blokes but as a suggestion I would suggest a good mix to be maybe 6-8 couples & 3-4 guys.
Can I be really cheeky and ask that I am one of the 3-4 singles!

Excellent advice, you control the numbers, you will get far too many single men wanting to attend, but 90% will not turn up, have a look at this profile, it might help you
Good luck x |

"Thank you, fantastic advice, do you have any suggestions on how to limit the number, also keen to make sure it's not to many single males as feel this could be intimidating "
Invite three times as many single men then you will get enough turning up. To tell you the truth if its a social in a public place I wouldn't worry about them being intimidating as only the ones with confidence will turn up. Vet them well. One line profiles who have just joined the site wont turn up for a social. That's too much effort. |

We normally have about 60 men who ask to be on the list, a few of them will go UNLOS then a week before we message them to get them to confirm, this will drop them to less than 20 and about 10 will actually turn up |
