We love going to socials but have noticed that many of them are far away and not to local to home (Essex). Most events are in Clubs which again can be some distance away or expensive - which is not always possible for people to attend.
Therefore we are planning on running and holding a social in North Essex (Colchester Area).
But before we start planning, we would like see if local people would be interested and what they would like.
So please feel free to comment before and if you are interested, we can take note of your profile name and message you - when date & venue has been decided. |

Hi ... We would defo be interested in going. You make many interesting points regarding social's not least for us as we avoid doorstep meets. Only thing we would add is that you hold it somewhere that has a traveloge in the vicinity |

in Colchester there are three major prem inns/travelodges as well as many b&bs, independent hotels etc.. So plenty of accommodation capacity  |

"We have often stayed in Colchester town mostly when the George or lion has had deals on hotel cheapo.com but it's funny we never played or socialized there just chilled in the bars  "
