Erm...you're not really selling it. Don't mean to be rude but we need a portfolio to help decide don't we?

Why is your free photoshoot better than others on offer here?

You've started the thread so sell it to us.

"Kindly read my verifications before sounding off, "

You've got verifications from two people that mention photos, and one of them has verified you numerous times. Neither of them is showing evidence of these great photos. Sorry but I'm not convinced.

Data protection applies to personal information like someone's address. If showing photos breached the DPA then most newspapers and paparazzo would be up shit creak.

It's a matter of discretion, certainly. But you do need to be able to show examples of your work to be taken seriously offering photo shoots.

Data protection OP?

Are you having a laugh?

The Act has nothing to do with photos, just so you are clear on that.

Make excuses, no problem, but use bulshit?

Funny.

East Grinstead

A badly compressed crop shot on your profile does not see the skills.

I shoot too and some of my personal shots are below par but want to see better then camfreebay with dot com has examples.

Shoots are either chatty conversations while shooting or blending into background when action and letting it flow.

I was thinking that. I love my photoshoot pictures because I was with someone I trust to shoot me well. I trust him because he was so chilled when I met him and every communication has been pleasant.

OP, its almost as if you were expecting a verbal fight to ensue from your post, very defensive and seemingly a little angry for some reason. Why not explain what you are offering in a little more detail and be a little more friendly, just a thought.

That's not data protection at all lol.

It's called a model release.

I won't be taking up the offer but you are obviously a good friend and to make this offer.

I would like to ask if you would have considered using Apple for a photoshoot if you did not know him and just read his opening post?

I love your corset pic. I imagine you in fits of giggles, having a brilliant time and feeling like a million dollars. That's how it should be.

Not some grumpy guy barking "get yer tits out luv" and grunting.

It was my birthday and I had my sister and best friend with me as my dressers. A charming and gorgeous photographer, courtesy of a Fab social, and lots of laughter. The images with my sister and our friend messing around in the background are my favourites.

evesham

wether it breaches DPA or not is irrelevant, he isdoing the right thing by not showing peoples pics that he has taken without their permission.

OP, when offering things like this people will pick holes in the pics YOU have on your profile. They arent going to want to go chasing verifications to see what your work is like. You coud be the David Bailey of lady gardens but without pictures on your profile to back it up you aren't going to get far.

Its nice that one of your mets has offered to share your work with people so thats a plus for you.

Probably because anytime a person offers to take photos they are shot down by people being critical of what the person is asking for.

I really am not sure why anyone need post unless they are after what the man wants.
