Hi all
Me and the mrs are thinking about at the end of August of hiring a large put party house ,with swimming pool and jacuzzi etc,
We just wondered how many would be Interested In Attending as we need to work out numbers and cost for the hire of the house ,
We discovered while looking for our sons prom and thought what a awesome idea
What cost would you pay ?
It's in North Manchester

"Right we'll fuck that idea of then lmao"
It's not that it's a bad idea
But try popping it in the meets/ events area lol
I'm sure you could get a nice pad for a grand for the night
But getting money from the party goers is another matter |

"Since when did people charge to get into a 'house party'?! "
If they are hiring a house specifically for th purpose I don't think that's a bad thing.
A friend of mine hired a huge house for a weekend and had lots of friends attend but we didn't it's as it was her birthday just happened that the guests were all swingers. We have been considering doing it again but us all contributing this time. We figured if 25 minimum friend each paid £50 that should secure the venue and food costs, pay a dj and then everyone take their own drink. But it would only be friends we already know as we'd like to be confident to get out deposit back after the event! X |

...As they're looking at HIRING A VENUE (aka: It's NOT a house party), it would be contributing to the cost of hiring said venue.
I personally think it's a fantastic idea but we wouldn't be able to get up there.
How much would the costs roughly come to anyway? x |

In theory it's a good idea... Depending on the cost of the venue and location.
I would personally make it an invite only party... So that way at least you know who your inviting and know they are going to behave. |

I floated (no pun intended) this idea for a swingers boat holiday on Norfolk Broads. About £700 for 8 berth boat for a week..... Not enough interest..... |

Cost of venue + food + entertainment divided by number of guests, unless of course you're hoping to make a killing on the party, if that's the case charge what you want, people will decide themselves if it is worth it |

You may also want to consider the cost of insurance to cover any damage and since it is at least arguable that this is a commercial venture, albeit non-profit, perhaps public liability insurance and so on. |

That's a good point Tina!
Public liability cover would be a must! |

You may also have to make the owner of the property you hire aware of the nature of the event; I'm not sure on this. However, I can see the headline in the Daily Heil: 'My nightmare as swingers took over my house.' |

Will you only be inviting black guys to the party as someone else said on the thread it says Black men only in BLOCK CAPITALS on your profile?
If you are posting this thread to gauge interest it may be a good idea to state where you stand on this so would white guys be banned from the event? |

No the house was for anyone on invite only ,as for black guys that's just a personal preference obv not everyone's cup of tea.
Insurance is included in the house,as it's situated on its own grounds so privacy would not be a issue also .
