Is there any interest in a couples only night at a local dungeon for newbies?
It would be a BDSM 101, with people getting to chat to subs, doms whilst being able to look at equipment and ask for advice.
It would be aimed at couples initially and then maybe rolled out to singles later?
I think having it at a dungeon and not at a swinger club lets people take photos and explore in a less sexual environment.
The cover charge will be something probably around £5 per person.
So am I flogging a dead horse or is it a valid idea?

'less sexual environment'
considering how sex is not usually permitted at BDSM events and you are aiming this at swingers, I'm confused How do you see this working?
(Ok so I didn't make the connection, the Mrs did ) |

From my point of view, I like sex but as a swinger I like it to be varied (and I assume that a lot of people may share my opinion)
I think that BDSM is a part of sex, not just a scene all on its own and I want to incorporate that. But having been a veteran swinging club attendee since 2008, one of the biggest misconceptions I find is that newbies expect that they will be jumped by sexually ravenous perverts as soon as they walk in the door.
So I am hoping that by using a dungeon that element of intimidation is removed and people can come have a mooch at the equipment, do photos and chat to people who identify as dom/sub/switch etc

Slightly off topic so I apologise but it depends on the venue, I have been to many BDSM events where sex is definitely on the menu lol
The only difference I suppose is that sex within BDSM is usually less of a group activity and more limited to 2 or 3 people due to space and equipment limits. |

This is why I want to use a dungeon that is a lot cheaper than a swinging club as well.
I find if sex is on the menu, I like it to be on my terms not just because I have wondered around a club and found someone who I sort of like |
