Hi and welcome to the next Sheffield Pub Social.

We had a fabulous time at the last one in November so here's a social to brighten the cold, dark days before spring begins.

This time the venue is a pub in the city centre. We will have the entire pub which is over two floors and has a well equipped juke box, space for dancing and a private outdoor space for smokers.

We can also have a buffet laid on. The buffet will be around £3.00 per person. I will confirm this closer to the date once I have a better idea of numbers.

THIS IS A PURELY SOCIAL EVENT. What this means is that predatory behaviour is not acceptable. Flirting (if they flirt back) is always acceptable, as is arranging fun for a later date, or even later that evening in your hotel, a club or a private address is also acceptable. But do not assume that you will hook up. And any behaviour you wouldn't get up to in your own local is not acceptable in mine! I will be sober all night and if anyone has any problems or issues please bring them to me and let me and the bar staff deal with them - I'm not shy and can be very firm if need be.

THIS IS A GUESTLIST ONLY EVENT. If you are not on the list then you will not be admitted. However it's very easy to get on the list and there are no quotas - single men, single females, couples and T girls are all very welcome. To get on the list simply post on this thread that you'd like to come. I will confirm on here that you're added to the list and will send hotel details for out of towners and also for locals who request them.

The list will close at midnight on Wednesday the 26th of March. You will need to ensure that I can message you to send a confirmation message and then the venue details. So if I am outside your filters wink or message me. If there is another reason I can't message you then we can see what we can do about that as the event is open to all even if we've butted heads personally.

I am currently in negotiations with some local hotels to get a favourable rate. Until I have confirmation on that any city centre hotel is local to the venue. In fact a rather good central hotel currently has rates or £35 for single occupancy and £41.25 for double occupancy on that date so it's worth goggling booking dot etc.

we will be holding a raffle again in aid of a Sheffield Cancer Care and Support Centre which is very dear to my heart. Any raffle prizes will be greatfully received and I will see if I can repeat my success of the last raffle and get some more great prizes.

This is a really fun event, it is a safe way to meet and socialise with lots of Fab friends and can be a handy way to get verifications. For single fems you can meet lots of new people with no pressure to play and for single men you can get that first verification that's so tricky.

you dont have to know how to play poker to play strip you just turn the cards over lowest card loses and has to take an item of clothing off then if your naked and lose you have to do a forfit

What's the dress code for this

The dress code is smart casual. Dress for a Saturday night in the city centre. So good jeans and a tee or even a suit for the gents.

As for the ladies, well I'm planning to wear a nice frock.

But jeans and a top or any variation between the two will work.

And I've added Tease to the list.
