black country socials

We had the monthly Saracens socials and that went then the wonderful Swan and their fun socials but sadly also gone so does anyone know of any socials taking place in and around the black country or maybe someone would be tempted as both the aforementioned were very popular |

saracens were much better than the swan, imo.
tried to organise one for telford, but loads of single guys jumped on the fact it wasnt open to them, in the first instance, and so it never happened. |

see, and this is what happened when we tried to sort one, so we opened it up to the moany single men to organise, and hey presto, nothing got done.
the BEST socials we went to were organised so any single guys that went came with couples, not on their own.
whether you think yourself great or not (and tbf we have found a fair few guys that are great and good company) there are a great many that DO follow women around all night
do hassle people
do make things uncomfortable
and for that, it was our idea to have a slow burning social event that meant, in time, more single guys would be invited as everyone got more happy and comfortable with the situation |

I have no need to....i have plenty of socials lined up from couples who want single guys there.  |

and thats the crux of it, isnt it?
moan about not being able to go to something that you have no intention of organising yourself because you probably wouldnt have gone in the first place.
we have no problem being around respectful single guys, the same with respectful couples and single women.
the last few socials we went to, the guys that attended lent a seedy quality to it, and therefor made it uncomfortable.
who wants to be followed around, groped and touched, uninvited, when you are there to chat and have a laugh?
nobody, but all these things happened the last couple of times we went, hence we stopped going and hence we would have organised things differently |

Same could be said about the many pissed up single fems and the couples arguing because the women wants cock but the guy of the couple gets all jealous cuz hes only there to watch her with fems  but i never see ppl saying ban them |

its all banter....i run my profile how i like not how ppl on a forum says it should be run it works for me as i have 4 fb and 2 couples i meet. fancy a shag = banter. if i was looking for more meets id sell myself more but i dont have the need to. Maybe before you judge ppl get your facts right in the. |

Well we're happy as we found a black countryish pub social and going Friday to support it. Some one has gone to the time and trouble to organize it so they deserve the chance to make it work
Believe it's couples and selected singles, lets hope its a success |

I arranged a social with a lady friend a year or so ago at the drop forge in the jewelry quarter about 8 couples turned up,nothing too outrageous but the group was well accepted. I would happily make arrangements. There would be no exclusivity for us but its a great bar and close to Brum should people want to move on. Would be looking for as many couples as possible and be guided on single guys as long as I was one of them!!  |

We went to the south staffs social (Walsall) last week it was in a private room back of a pub the couple who organised it did all they could to make it a good night and evan put a buffet on as well. After having a list of 60+ only a dozen showed up and they had also opened it up to single men and yet only one showed up. we all had a realy nice time and met some realy nice people. if they organise another I'll ask if I can post it but it was such a shame that after all their hard work it was poorly suported. We appreciated there effort and would support any future events |

I mentioned about a quiet pub in kings heath. They have discos or bands every Saturday. Yes it's a pub but it's no different to where I've been to a social before really. Drinks music and a party atmosphere.
Best way is for someone to arrange a place and everyone inbox them. Keeping it confidential so details aren't just given to everyone that way no too many singles turn up if that's what everyone is talking about |

Yes its still on for the 26th near Aldridge went to the last one and met some lovely people

My friends on here, 2 of them single females who would love to use the social to make contacts. Neither of them do many meets at the minute for their own reasons, but would relish the chance to meet some nice couples with a networking view.

Hi all .
The south staffs social will be going ahead on the 26th and as you can imagine we were inundated with single male requests . I think we had something like 185 in 3 days ,
Now we do want single males there and we are trying to be fair by everyone here so 12 places were up for grabs and they were given to the most respectfull of aplicants .there are single female places left and they are more than happy to attend as well as couples all we ask is you contact us direct and come say hello and send us a friends invite and i will put you on the list .
We are actually away on holiday at present and are coming back on the 26th so if we dont reply straight away or am not on here for a couple of days we havnt forgot you we will be in touch
All details of the venue will be messaged to you on the 25th as the venue wishes to remain incogneto so to speak lol
Anyone wishing to ask a question please contact us and any single males wishing to go on the list for the next one also get in touch
