I think there ought to be a minimum of 10 people to start a regular social... what does everyone think?
I'll put a date down and see how many people will come
The meeting place to be arranged (any ideas?)
I think we can stretch things to the TouchFM coverage area.... Tamworth, Lichfield and Burton
Date - Friday 9th November
Time - 7pm
Location - A pub in Tamworth

I agree with Femme... we shouldnt restrict numbers...
However, I just feel like meeting in one pub should be ok. If you want to crawl, its up to you lol  |

The centurian is right on junction 10
and have good meals if anyone wants to eat etc.
Its nice chilling over food

Hi,
Just to let you all know I could only find a couple of people who could accept private messages???
Therefore as I am away for a few days without internet access the location for the social will be 'The Centurion Tamworth'. You can find it on google Its just off the M42 Tamworth. Ill let the bar staff know that we are the F.A.B club meeting. Ill get a seat with room for more (hopefully). See you all there on Friday 9th at 7pm. All the best, KevTamworth x  |

Its junction 10 off the m42.
As you come off the slip road its to the left and round the corner.
There is a new travel inn thingy ? next to it (or premier inn) ?
They are "table table" whatever that may be ?
So people travelling could stay over if they have rooms or the meals are good so dont go hungry

Hiya, just came across this in the events. The Centurion is my local but as you have said, it is only a social. To be honest I hate walking into a pub on my own but will try and get my courage up and hope the group will be obvious. Gulp, hope to see you all there. Gilly  |

Two couples and two singles can a (small) Social make.
Very nice to meet the few people who did turn up and very disappointed at the people who didn't.
Particularly disappointed at the OP as any credibility he had has been destroyed by not turning up to his own event! |

To be honest I dont really think it would have made any difference if it was posted or not as most Genuine people know someone or have seen each other before at some point and noone else in the pub would know what you were there for anyway. It was nice though to meet the folks that did turn up and we all had a good chat and a giggle. |

have a social meet and find the genuine ones thanks to those we met for those that use the lame excuse of place being posted what differnece would it make people are not going to stand on the tables and say they are swingers over who would have known who we are and to think genuine men would be watching us watchin what us talking if you worry about pervy single men sorry but you wont get away from them in this life style |

First of all i would like to make my own apologies for not turning up.
Unfortunately my illness wouldnt allow me the privilage (wont go into details on here)
I waited till last min before deciding what to do and my NOT attending wasnt made lightly.
I was so looking forward to meeting those who turned up.

Dear all,
Unfortunately I had to go away for a few days for a close family member who was not well.
This turned out to be longer than expected and I am now grieving the sad loss of that relative. I can understand how upset everyone is but I did not have it in me to attend as I cannot get over my loss.
I'm pleased those who attended had a good time!
I would appreciate a little sympathy before jumping to conclusions.
I hope to attend Tamworth socials in the future as I am 100% genuine!

OOPs didnt go cos I got side tracked and forgot. Well at least I am honest. My son has had the flu for a couple of days, too poorly even to make himself a cup of tea poor lamb. Have been popping in to his place to make him lunch etc, got chatting and clean forgot all about the meet. I am sorry cos was looking forward to meeting fellow Tammie swingers. |

I initially thought 'good for you' but then thought if I had committed to doing something whether be a Social or a meet I would turn up whether or not I got a 'better offer'. |

well im sorry that you didnt approve of my not showing but im afraid i have been let down, turned down, told to bog off that many times since becoming a single male on here that i thought i am going to grab it with both hands and just enjoy it..... so i did, as for bringing my meet with me , well a little rude really as it was our first meet !

Does it really matter if someone doesn't turn up, it wasn't a one 2 one meet but a social in a pub. I’m sure those who did turn up had a great time and those who missed it missed out. Life carries on |

It does matter to an extent when people travel from a long distance,then to find that nobody was actually there. You would be peed off if you said you would meet either a social event or a meet to get there for a wasted journey plus in this lifestyle there are a lot of timewasters unfortunatly.If you say you are going somewhere then do your very best to keep it. If not then just enesure. However we still had a good night so thats all that matters and if |
