Hello,
I am James, and am a fully trained photographer (I use a Nikon 3200D) but could use your own camera if you prefer.
You can keep the photos if you like, so im not leaving your home with your images.
ALSO im not looking for anything in return or "reward" for doing it... but i'd not say no
Though a photographer, i do mostly building work this time of year, so doing this just keeps my photo finger sharp.

i am aware of that obviously.. he made the point of saying that he wants nothing in return for his services.. yet in the same breath adds that little statement.
id not be comfortable with a guy who says he is happy to offer something with no intentions but secretly would be greatfull of you paying for his services in kind.

Usual reply to these threads from me!
People will want to see examples of your work - so putting some in your profile will help. There's no end of "professional photographers" offering their 'services' on here - just check previous threads. Those that you can tell are genuine (naming no names!) can easily be identified by the quality of visuals on display.
Plus these days it's not hard to DIY, with basic equipment and software - so many prefer to keep this sort of thing 'in house' or to be done with friends.
I wouldn't expect a flood of requests - but that said - it's all good fun if done in the right way, with the right people, in the right environment - but trust is essential - and that's hard to obtain via an ad in the forums!! |

I don't see the problem with what he's offering. Having pics taken can be quite a horny experience from both sides. It would be nice to see some of your work |

I use the Nikon 3200D, it's a decent camera with plenty bells and whistles, also capable of filming.
I'd want twenty quid and a coffee, though, if not a coffee and a BJ lol |

OP: it's like this.... Nobody who considers themselves to have a valuable skill offers their work for free.
Either tell everyone what you want in return or cut the 'professional' talk. Until you are regularly being paid to do something, you're no professional irrespective of whatever pricey equipment you've bought.
Having some half decent pics of something other than yourself might also help your cause. |

Decent camera? Yes, but seen as an entry level nikon DSLR, not the sort of camera commonly used by "pro" togs as their main body. |

I dont name names, but a pal of mibe who got me in this field also uses the 3200D. Class 10 card also so no snap lag. He was on the oprah show... his last name is wood. Usually the ability is in the person using the tool, and not the tool alone.
Website currently under construction, but i Am shadowphotographyoldham. Also do charity work for dr.kershaws and other orgs. Reason im part timephoto for now is simply due to wedding season has ended and christmas season has not started yet. Would not be right of me to post photos done for others on this site though i hold the copywrite. But happy to email clean sample shots, if anyone were to pman email address.
As said, it is a sexual nature site and is just for fun and i do take it seriously. Tongue and cheek so to speak. And i dont have a studio, many dont, overheads on them are stupid and people are in a much more natural state in an area they are used to. Within 30/40miles im happy with.
Hope concerns have been met. No need to flame

If people pay you to do it you're professional - part time/full time whatever.
If you are a professional and you do occasionally give your services for free then good for you. It doesn't make you any less professional.
If you get your rocks off taking risqué photos and people are happy for you to do that - good all round.
If you dare to suggest that you might be interested in taking photos on here... well good luck because they'll eat you alive and you'll never be good enough.
Good luck. |

Photo rules do not allow any pics that are not of you on your own profile - so the OP wouldn't have anything else but himself on his profile. |

I have done this in the past few points generally I'd agree the photographer is more important I'm a semi pro too meaning I sell pictures but its not my main job btw I don't sell pics I take at orgies .... Those are for my friends and me ... Encrypted and stored securely ... Payment .. id never work without being paid but this isn't work its pleasure I get off watching and filming horny ppl screwing, they get pro quality pix ans we are all happy with that ... But you can tell by looking the pix who the talented ones are on here ...there are some fantastic shots ... And lots and lots of out of focus shit ones |

Hate to be a gear snob but surely if your claiming to be a "pro" photographer, you should at least have a full frame camera? I love photography and shoot with a D300s, I'm not a pro but have great fun and people always seem to enjoy my shots. I have a portable flash kit also which can be really fun to work with when not wanting to use a natural environment! |

"I'm loving profile pictures of some of those who claim to be photographers !! "
Remember this site only allows photos to be uploaded that include the profile owner n them. Therefore, in many cases, photos of a photographer will probably have been taken by someone else. I'm not commenting either way on the photos of other posters in this thread, merely pointing out the facts in case you weren't aware of them. |

Why can a photographer not take pictures of himself? I'm confused! |

My there is a lot of bitching going on in here.
We are both keen Amateurs at the moment, although we are moving into the semi pro side of photography. We have done many sexy photo shoots for friends and fab members too.
It doesn't matter how good a camera you own if you haven't got an eye for composition. There is a huge difference between a good photo and a snap shot.
We have had no complaints on photos taken and let's be honest 80% of what you take are no good so you have to filter out the rubbish.
Luckily my other half has a fine art degree so her view is always top notch.
We don't charge for naughty photo shoots because they're fun. Photography is fun, just stick to that. Oh and we use a Nikon d3200 and. D7100...
Samples of our normal work are on our website which is in our profile but please take note it's still work in progress. For those that know us? Can vouch that our studio is up and running. Lol |

I too am a professional photographer and it is posted on my profile however I don't ask if people would like their photos taking as I do believe it sounds a little seedy and out of place but I have been asked on numerous occasions if I could shoot for the good people of this site

Just a note on camera quality & snobbery.
The 1st 'pro' quality digital camera was the Nikon D100 (6mp)- cost @ £2700.
Many commercial photos were taken on these.
Any modern digital camera can produce equally good or better results whether compact or SLR.
Its the eye behind the lens that counts |
