Hi, sorry about the delay in getting back, been away!! Don't have any venue in mind at the moment but any pub that is not too full, or has an unused function room would be open to suggestions but you would have to make sure everyone understood it was JUST A PUB and so a certain amount of common sense should be used where dress and behaviour is concerned. If you find a venue I'm sure there would be no problem in filling it! If everyone who has replied just brought along another couple it would be OK but that is just a start LOL!

Hi ya,the slug n lettuce is a good venue to meet,its in the city centre and has lots of space plus drinks are well priced. Or the barn owl near warndon villages jnc 6 m5.
Great idea on the social meet,hard to meet genuine people on here,so many fakes.

After having helped with a social in Worcester before we learned that using a city centre pub with no private area didn't work. People who like to keep there identity and extra curricular activities private from the vanilla world felt uncomfortable and unable to relax and enjoy themselves. As we would like to include as many people as possible and for those that do attend to feel they don't have to be on the look out for people they may know.
Any other suggestions are very welcome though and I will look into them. |

Ok it is proving to be a popular idea so I am actively looking at venues possible disco ect. I think we will be looking at a Friday night as week nights are not looking easy for a lot of people. I will try to keep cost as low as possible but will need to charge a small amount to cover cost of room and dj. I'll keep you all posted. |

i know we talked about it at the weekend, it would be a social social, no play at the venue but maybe back at the hotel
