worcester social guest list!!

As the previous thread has a mix of comments as well as reguests, we have decided to set up this as purely a guest list so we can clearly keep an eye on numbers, even if you have already written on the previous thread please add your name again on here, thank you. We look forward to seeing you all on 20th of march at the courtyard 8pm till 1am, in our private room, for a night of relaxed fun. All the best Nicci and Paul.  |

Hey Wabbits...we're finally committing ourselves (not to the loony bin lol) and saying we'll be there on the 20th March. You have always given the Cardiff socials your full support and are true friens of ours. So we wouldn't miss this event of yours for the world. Bring on the fun and laughter.

We are creeping over 20 now, awaiting some confirmations. We need 25 plus to keep the room booked. We will make sure everyone is welcome and relaxed, we have a few ideas to keep it rolling so watch this space. Bring your friends and have a ball.  |

That's great news guys. Is there a dance floor and music? You know how Sean loves to do his John Revolting impersonations hehe. Only kidding of course...tis I what wants to do a bit of boogeying on down, believe it or not.   |

Hi the post code for the social is WR1 iUR. head for St Nicholas street. There is a carpark just a few minutes away from the place literally five minutes walk away you will pass it on your left hand side as you approach St Nicholas street. Hope this helps, see you on Saturday. |

Right For those coming to Worcester on the motorway I thought I'd give you afew directions to help you get there quickly and easly, giving you landmarks to look out for on the way. If you come off the M5 at juntion 6 (Worcester north) and take the A440 (sign posted 'The Lyppards'). You will come to a round about which you need to go straight over (no not literaly!) and follow the road to the end (on your left you should pass the 'Barn Owl' pub). You will come to another round about (there are afew quite close together), at this one turn left (1st exit). Now just stay on this road, going straight over 2 more round abouts. Now you'll come to yet another round about at which you need to take the 3rd exit (turn right). Follow this road right to the end, going through 3 sets of traffic lights (you should pass 'The Virgin' pub, Texico garage, 'The Farmers Boy' pub, 'Storage King' and go under a railway bridge. Now this is where it gets ticky but you are just moments away. At the round about you need to take the first exit but straight away go into the right hand lane to go straight over down a street called 'Lowesmore' (look out for Tilly's Sandwich bar on the left and an empty pottery shop on the right). This is a narrow road with shops on each side. When you get the end (only a short road) at the lights go straight over (ignore the road markings that say buses only) and the you should see the carpark on your left hand side (infront of (embassy Sales)..YIPEE!! Now to get to the Courtyard just go round the corner of the embassy sales and you'll see it infront of you on the right hand side. Opposite O'Neils pub and next door to the Royal Bank of Scotland. Looks like there is some confusion here as far as we are concerned YOU are trying to arrange a social in Worcester or surrounding area and this is an old meet?? |
