The single guys list is fully subscribed for the Feb social and we can't take any more guys unless you are a 'young swinger/newbie' under 30. Its not a huge venue, so sorry guys. But there is still room for a few more couples or single fems.
The idea of AvonSocials is to have a place where people in Bristol and Avon area can get to know each other by meeting in a friendly social environment. Meets are held in a reserved private bar, close to Temple Meads station and with ample parking.
The meets are just a social (i.e. no sex!) night in a pub, much like you would go to with your mates, except the people are swingers/newbies. The bar is private and reserved for us, so no worries about being 'seen'. Dress is same as for a night out to a pub, casual but smart/flirty.
What happens?... people chat, have a drink and a laugh. Newbies get info from old hands about the scene, people might make arrangements to meet each other privately, perhaps afterwards, but by and large they talk about the places they've been to or are going to.
Whatever your experience its a great way to find out about the scene, what's on locally, and to get known - which helps enormously if you want to party. It's all first name terms and people don't ask about each others day jobs or other personal matters - there are people from all walks of life in the scene, and sex is a great leveler.
Invitations are open to couples, single girls and guys. All ages are welcome and a typical night has people from around 30, averaging in 40s or 50s, though this month we have at least one in early 20s attending. We are keen to keep the average age down, after all the average goes up by 1 year every year unless more keep coming in at the young end. So are there any more YOUNG people interested especially 20s - 30s?
We also hold occasional Apartment Parties in central Bristol. PARTY invitations are usually open to all couples and single girls, and the socials are an ideal way to get to know people before a party. A few vouched for single guys are usually invited.
Don't forget priority for the party the following week goes to those at the social.
