Some nerves are a good thing! Even frequent social attendees get a bit nervous beforehand. Make sure you join the Telegram chat group when it's live as it's a great way to say hello to people before the event.
The social itself is quite relaxed and welcoming; you'll always find someone to share a drink with or natter about nonsense. 😊 |

Only natural IKS
I had to have a good old pep talk to conquer my first MLS nerves back in the day. As I walked in I repeated a truth from that famous old swinger and something else apparently reasonably notable - Thomas Jefferson who said: “If you want something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done.”
Once I got there I made sure I threw myself in to it,that I spoke to as many people as I could, that I’d had a good time and when I got home I realised it was probably one of the best things I’d ever done!
We and other organisers will be there when you arrive and will help orientate you. Once you’re over those inevitable initial nerves I know you'll not have any regrets.

I couldn't agree more, this is my 4th mls and stil get nervos, but straight away the hosts will put you at ease |

Once again thank you so much to the 4 hosts for putting together an amazing night
I'm so pleased I didn't let the nerves win and went to this last night. If you remember either one of us or both of us veris are very much welcome and greatly appreciated. Sorry I wasn't brave enough to speak to everyone but it took me almost an hour to come out of my hiding place in the corner lol

Another great weekend in Manchester making more memories with some of my favourite people.

Thank you all for your feedback about this event. I know all the organisers are all so pleased people feel like they enjoyed the night and that the new attendees feel like it was worth it.
Being new to these events can be daunting so we know how hard it must have been for some to even arrive at the venue, but to hear that you had a great night and in some cases would come again is fantastic.
We’re making our way through our Veris and will hopefully get to everyone this week. We hope that we will see you again at another social some time soon.
To all those that came and made Fab more than just a site on the internet; thank you for coming and helping make it a fantastic event!
