Highlands

Anyone share my morbid curiosity and gothic tendencies and be interested in group tour round a few city cemeteries? Older and more tumbledown the better. Either a Morning mist tour, or afternoon idle or nighttime for the daredevils if any open then? Trial run for Fri. 30th/Sat. 31st in Glasgow, all suggestions welcome? Possibly some dressing up too (goth or slight kink) for added frisson but not essential.

Gone and completely forgotten.

I used to do this, although not dressed goth or kink, but sadly, my dodgy bones don't let me any more. The Necropolis is great, in Glasgow, but for my money, Old Cathcart Cemetery is probably more "tumbledown" and overgrown, with loads of great monuments.

Wherever you go, enjoy!🪦

Thanks, must have a creep there. Did like the one up at Sighthill which has lovely city vistas. Maybe try few out clydebank/old kilpatrick way. Any open all nighters?

Sighthill is nothing special. The views from the Necropolis are much better. Clydebank is OK, maybe too manicured. I don't know Old Kilpatrick. The Southern & Eastern Necropoli are good, some nice monuments, but parking nearby is a problem.
