It starts at 9% of income and obvs depends on residence arrangements. So if he has the kids 50% of the time neither parent would pay maintenance. Maybe that's the plan? Open a crèche? |

Aside from the quite horrific lack of ethics of this scenario? What agreement overrides the legal obligation of a father to pay maintenance to children he doesn't see? |

This isn’t me taking any stance on whether men should or shouldn’t pay OBVIOUSLY, but I do feel like if someone says they won’t want him involved in the child’s life etc she might not seek maintenance?
My overall point here is that, in the cases of people with this kink I imagine that money is not *always* a factor. |

The Child Maintenance Service can enforce a DNA test as well as ask for proof eg birth certificate. |
