To those that don't know, Riot Party is an event held once a month (I think) in London and Manchester and sometimes Bristol. It is "a multi-genre, queer, intersectional sex positive rave [...] POC and Sex Worker led, celebrating, championing and platforming marginalised communities." There's a dance room, a chill-out room and a play room.
I've never been. I'm going to the pre-party social on 19th June before I decide if I'm going to their one-year anniversary party 20th July. I think they're skipping a big party in June in Manchester since they're hosting one in Bristol for Pride. Not explicitly said, but I get the feeling they're skipping Manchester in Pride month because Manchester hosts their own Pride in August, on the Bank Holiday. |

Definitely going. The social was good, but I was stressed from driving into Manc, so didn't chill and mix that well... and I get up early coz I work 10hr days, 4 days a week so I left before 11.
For the night, I considered hotel, decided not to bother. Turns out it's much cheaper to get an Uber 40km, sleep in my own bed. Unless I sleep in someone else's. |
