cool, as you can see we are new to this, hosting our first party on sat eve so looking forward to that, see what interest we get for the leeds social, my other half evie knows leeds so could arrange to meet in one of the bars, soon, |

Because its not much of a social if the single men outnumber the couples.
And some single men are just rude.
I'm not saying that no single men should be allowed but maybe a limit.
It's up to the person who's organising of course.  |

but Annie as lovely as you look and of course you enjoy having fun. . It's a social and if you don't want to talk or socialise with us mortal single guys then don't. I just think it's un fair you saying we will come if it's limited to single guys. . Nothing sorted yet anyways. . So would you come if a single guy sorted it? |

Some single guys don't take No for an answer unfortunately and I realise all of you are not like that.
We have several friends who are single guys and have been to many parties organised by them.
We have found in the past that if you open a social to unlimited single guys you end up with 40 single guys and 10 couples, and when your only interested in couples as we are then there's absolutely no point in turning up and I'm sure a large portion of couples would feel the same.
Of course we appreciate other people may prefer that and that's great, I am asking so that I know whether or not I want to go, I'm not insisting it has to happen

wasnt getting arsey but this isnt even official yet and your trying to restrict single me so was just suggesting if your only looking for couples then the sensible thing would be to arrange a social yourself been couples only  |

I never said all single guys at all I said some. So therefore how did I tar you all with same brush.
In answer to your question no it wouldn't be alright. It would just be better.
I have not been rude at all.
And I'll also add I never said don't allow single guys just limit the number I didn't even suggest a limit.

80+ posts in and still no date.... you really need to just choose a place and a date OP and if people can make it great if not, well you can't please everyone. I for one can't say 'yes I'll come'without knowing a date and I am sure the same will apply to others. |

I think there are some great single guys and 2 of them are in this forum. Single guys get a bad reputation but as a single woman I can tell you that couples can be a pain |

The venue details will be sent about a week before, but it is booked and is in Leeds City Centre.
A few of us are stopping at a Hotel in Leeds for the weekend so its upto you if you would like to meet us at the Hotel Reception before we set off for the club then let us know what you would prefer but a few of us who are travelling from outside Leeds are stopping in a hotel as we are making a weekend of it.
Any questions then let us know but there are around 50 people so far for the Saturday night x |

we were going to do a social up until today when we were goign to post that we are unable to sort one due to family commitments, we do apoagise to everyone who wanted to come, but are glad the poster above us has rescued it so to speak, we thank them for this x |

Getting closer, only contact us for details if ur 100% per cent interested not just interested. Looking to be a good night and venue will be passed onto people by wednesday.
By the way this is our 4th Social, we have done this before for those strange messages we have got (rant over lol) |
