First Northampton mini social 28th april

Going to try my hand at organising a social. Local folks who want to come chat and be verified ect.
Will be a pub on the town centre and same rules as all the others.
Pop your name down here and will let you know where it is a few days b4.

Probably not. Some will be weekends. Its just the Friday worked well for me this time  |

I'm interested and would love more details cheers.
Also the last Northampton social I went to was a great mix of genders. As long as you have a good rep and know folk and promote it as a safe and relaxed event where folk are expected to behave etc then women are more likely to attend. |

The venue does food but The Smoke Pit is next door and is really good... Is expensive but totally worth it lol |

I'll probably be eating at the venue if I feel hungry but I was recommended to Al Fairoz, next door to the bus station by my tattoo artist for their "Nando" style chicken and it was awesome!

*Update to incident in Northampton town centre*
We are currently in attendance in Northampton town centre to reports of a possible unexploded World War II bomb.
A number of road closures have been put in place including Castle Street, Pike Lane, Horsemarket, Greyfriars, Tower Street and St Peter's Way.
The EOD are en-route to the scene and have advised residents in the local area to stay inside their homes for the time being.
Motorists and members of the public are advised to avoid this area and find alternative routes until further notice.
Thank you for your patience while we deal with this incident. |

**UPDATE TO INCIDENT - 12.55pm**
Road closures in Northampton town centre have now been lifted after a suspected unexploded bomb found off Castle Street was confirmed by EOD to not be an explosive device.

So glad you all had fun.
Me and sir had a rough week before hand. But you all made the social worth doing.
Was an amazing night and we hope to do it again in the future.
