Depends on what you would class as local? I mean I’m from Manchester and I’d class that as local but I know some peoples idea of local is up to 5 miles!
My understanding and general rule of thumb of local is if someone is able to meet on short notice but that doesn’t really depend on location I find…… |

Hmmm let me put it this way then…..if a guy lived on the street across the road but his availability wasn’t great but there was someone who would be willing to meet on short notice but had to travel an hour to get to you, who would you class as local? |

Leigh isn’t far. I’ve realised if I relied on trying to just meet local people in here, I’m destined to not actually find very few if any that will get along with me.

Used to live between leigh & wigan (westhoughton), though more than 20 years ago now.
& before that, there was an old mill there that had been turned into practice rooms, that I used to go to when I was in bands, as a teenager.
So I used know it well, but haven't been for quite a while though.. & I try not to go there these days..
