First reaction seeing the title....ooooh this could be a kinky cosplay local event and sadly disappointed to see it is a music festival We can't make it anyway but could be fun for someone. Hope you find some local naughty music fans.

Well I haven’t been before, so this is just my take from checking out the advertising ….

Probably best to check it out yourself by Googling CozFest and the CosFest Facebook page

Looks like it is ‘up and coming’ bands and garage bands.

It is heavy rock mostly, some punk, metal and acoustic mixed in.

Covers mentioned are :

AC/DC

My Chemical Romance

Bullet for my Valentine

I would imagine seeing two generations of the ‘long-haired denim & leather’ crowd there.

I am of the older of those two generations, but it wil be great to see the Millennials take on rock festivals.

I am not a mega fan of the music, just going for the SOCIAL experience in and around the stalls & beer tent etc. would be nice to say hi to Fabbers there too?

As there are no big names to pay, tickets are low cost and camping is FREE - should suit the youngsters / students etc. on a budget.

About CozFest:

CozFest is an annual music festival in memory of Corran 'Coz' Powell, held over the August bank holiday weekend.

Our aim is to introduce new talent and give them the opportunity to perform alongside professionals in an open-air festival setting.

There will also be a selection of delicious food stalls, a beer tent loaded with drinks, attractions to keep everyone entertained and even wild camping.

We hope by bringing people together, with excellent music and good times, we can honour everything Coz held dear.

CozFest : MORE INFO

It’s not all rock …

Luke Fisher and Jax Powell are acoustic sets.

Jez Kemp is a bit of a mix of indie rock and acoustic.

The Condriacs have an easy Motown kind of vibe,.

Exempt are doing indie covers of which vary in intensity of rockiness, but nothing too heavy.
