"Very excited to be all signed up to come along for our first group social. Be interested to know what the order of the day is, should we be trying to get childcare early so we can be there right from the start?! " Welcome! We're excited to see you too. Most people aim for 6, but you could turn up at anypoint through the night. Obviously you will get the most out of it, and have a chance to meet more people the earlier you arrive. The speed dating portion, which is a brilliant ice-breaker and not as scary as you'd think, also starts at 6, so if you want to do that make sure you get registered when it's listed. There will be a Telegram chat group opening up before the event, which helps people to get to know each other before the event and then they sometimes end up using it to meet up for food or a drink before coming along. | |||

(Generally we can't get there in time for it so never done it), it's also completely optional, but everyone we know who has done it has loved it! I've stayed in a Airbnb with a few people before which was great, but usually just look for something like a Premier Inn that will be cheapish but a known quality. | |||
