"I book in December for the following year (Apr/Aug/Dec) sometimes multiple weekends just to take advantage of early booking discounts. I then cancel what I don’t need! The guy who answered the phone checked and said they have no information that there are any strikes! So I advised of the RMT website and he reiterated there are no notifications of any strikes on those dates! So either my trains aren’t affected or Northern Rail customer services haven’t been told! . Those that are booked for all weekend should be ok (fingers crossed!) x" We were going to travel there and back Saturday from Leeds on a Northern service. No mention of the "possible" strike on their site as yet. BBC say it will happen if the pay issue isn't resolved by then. I think we should look at a Saturday night hotel.
