I'm off to the Swingathon Festival again this year.
Last years was my first play event since I started swinging a few months previously, and it was amazing (and a massive eye opener for a newbie).
Who else is going this year and will it be your first time to an outdoor swinging festival? |

It was brilliant! You'll love it.
Just being able to be outside in the fresh air and sun, with loads of like-minded individuals was brilliant!
All the other bits just added to it  
Oh, and for the people that worry about showers, they were 'really' nice, and even had attendents cleaning them after every use. Best mobile showers I've ever seen. |

Last year, everyone was really friendly and welcoming, I can't imagine this year being any different.
If it is something that bothers you though, spread the word and get someone to join you. It makes it a lot cheaper for both of you then. |

But,I am over the moon to have been asked to come and play for you guys this year...will be doing some pool party set and then a big Saturday night set from 10pm.....if you know me from swingfields come and say hi? Rather frustrating that’s there seem no details on the web site where in the country this is. I’d love to go but not if it’s Scotland or hours and hours away for a day pass.
Understand the location not being on general release but not even a county or city approx is pretty unhelpful.

I'd have happily chatted to anyone on there (and happy to talk separately if people want, or want to know things). I'm just not on there that often.
It seems how most busy chat rooms seem to go tbh. A lot did start a banter group to try leaving the main chat more focused, but there is still a lot of chatter.
You just have to ignore what you have missed and just join in from where it is.
Hopefully we can all chat in person next week anyway |

Yeah, events are nearly always quite different.
Having been in a fair few chats, I've noticed people bounce in and out a lot and as there are often so many messages, it's very easy for yours to be missed. It's very rarely personal.
You just need to keep chatting and not get put off by lack of responses.
