Just in case it hasnt been clear up to this point, you can’t just ‘pop in’ or ‘swing by’, there needs to have been a ticket bought to get on the list which will then mean you get the venue info etc.
We do it this way to minimise potential drop outs and also as we have costs we need to cover so can’t rely on people just coming along when they’ve said they will. We’ve been in this life long enough to know how it can work! |

TB here - what’s having a a rough time supposed to mean? We replied to the ones without a crap profile who asked, and have invited some more since. Out of our hands if they decide they can’t make it or don’t buy the ticket despite 3 reminders
No one gets to stipulate how many they ‘need’, we do what we can from the selection we are presented with. We’re never going to accept crap profiles, people who aren’t verified or those who can’t string a sentence together, other socials might and that’s their prerogative.
We have got another 2 guys since that was posted, and we do plan on doing our best to get a few more before the night but again, we won’t lower our standards just to bump up the numbers. We already get whinged at for being in it for the money |

Thanks so much to everyone for coming.
Appreciate there were a few wobbles with bar staff numbers at the start (which we will feed back) but hopefully a good time was had by all
We learn a few things every time we have a Social and try and incorporate these into future events so they should keep getting better.
I think we now realise there is an ideal capacity for these events so will be a case of getting in quick in future as we will have to limit numbers.
All we ever wanted to do was give Lincoln it’s own little swinging scene and I think we’ve accomplished that, along with helping to make new friendships and partnerships so we’re happy with what we’ve done.
