Cake. Tea. Social.

We all love cake. We all love tea. We all miss socials.

Now that BoJo says we can go out to play again, I wonder if people would be interested to attend a slightly different type of social.

I was thinking we could all bake a cake and get together at a cafe/restaurant - probably outdoors (because, you know, the weather is amazing at this time of year....) and and enjoy ... well... tea. And cakes. Each other’s cakes. In a community way.

People could make their own. Or bring shop bought.

What do oeope think?

I’m happy to choose a “central” location and make arrangements.

Perhaps one day in June. Or July. Or whenever really.

Do let me know your thoughts.

Will x

This is kinda what The Secret Tea Party did - worth asking Kinky Minx if she’s organising another

Forum search The Secret Tea Party would find a number of threads she is on re it. No reason other socials can’t be organised obvs, it just reminded me of the London ones she sorted for us Lounge forum dwellers!

Sounds lovely, we'd attend a social like that. Not sure a commercial restaurant or cafe would be happy for its patrons to bring their own cake though.

You can arrange socials if you want to and they abide by whatever regulations are in force

Also day/time preferences?

Reading is west Berkshire isn’t it?

That’s one vote for the south.

Let’s see what views others have on location
