Gobby to me (Luke) as more about attitude than being a chatterbox. I take it as you give as good as you get and speak your mind even if it upsets somebody. I wouldn'twwant yo cross you. It could be in a nasty way but the fact you say it of yourself suggests to me it's more humorous and sarcastic in nature.
