Learning to do stuff in isolation

Porthmadog

Are we developing skills we never knew we had? Our Mule (4x4 vehicle that we use for collecting logs etc. on our precipitous woodland) developed a flat in its heavy duty tyre. No tyre shops near us are open. No problem; we found a tyre repair kit on Amazon and fixed it ourselves.

Similarly, a friend's set a challenge to paint a painting on a specific theme once a week. Out came the paints, and gradually we're getting better. Michaelangelo watch out.

So the question is, have you developed a skill which other than for isolation you woukdn't have?

I am a single guy living alone in London. I used to have food at my office on weekdays. I knew only 2/3 recipes for cooking that I used for weekend. Isolation means I can't keep eating the same crap everyday. I am learning more recipes.
