So lads, how are you all coping? Keeping busy? Working hard? Hardly working?

Fortunately, I'm still in full time work and I'm keeping positive. I know a lot of people aren't in the same boat so thought I'd check in

Been at work for the past two weeks straight. Only had half a day off. Last shift today and got a couple of days off before I’m back on nights.

It’s all a bit manic at the moment, as I’m sure you can imagine. Pretty sure many of us are in the same boat anyway.

Looking forward to those two days off. Bit of time to myself.

Look after yourselves.

Keeping busy

So glad I’ve moved house before all this kicked off.

I’ve got a nice sized garden to sort out and a double garage where I can set up my hobby gear

First time in 5 years I’ve had my drums set up and luckily bought my blacksmithing set up the week before the lockdown measures were put in place.

No change at all... in construction and generally we are busy as ever... apparently we are crucial to the economy .. although more importantly, I think the government don’t like the idea of hundreds of thousands of construction fellas bored and restless and getting into mischief...

Still at work. This week is harder than I expected it to be, for many different reasons. Miss my family a lot, have certain friends in my thoughts.

But the logic of what is happening overtakes that, and we keep going.

Good on ya for this thread too, PoF.

I’m hardly working but I am going to get my act together tomorrow to do some admin and rearranging of work for later in the year. Next week I’ll start in earnest on redesigning some of what I do to deliver it virtually rather than face-to-face. I’m also getting going on some redecoration and hoping that my paint order gets delivered. I’m in very good spirits and enjoying my time with the family. My son is back from Uni too, so once he has completed the necessary course work we have a music project to embark on.
