In corners of the parks are lost.

Tiny meadows filled with moss.

Tis there the faeyries dance away,

the time that's theirs

twixt night and day.

And...sparkly vampires...

Best literary vampires are those created by Brian Lumley; the Wamphyri, worst vampires would be the sparkly emo vegetarian ones from twilight

Not thrilled with the actors in these movies, but that said I think those who were well established at the start of the sage would not have been a great choice. If you're looking for a vampire movie, none of the twilight ones ar gonna be for you, however I have had to look at them in a different light and see that it really is a pretty damn good storyline. Must get round to reading the books for a more in depth view and experience.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

For some reason, only Emmet n Rosalie don't really do it for me....rest of the vamps and the weres plus Charlie - well call me a greedy girl and feck me senseless, though I can agree with earlier poster regarding Bella being a miserable sod

twilight isnt right true blood is much better lets be honest eric from tru blood is super hot and of course sookie stackhouse i would quite like to be the in the middle of an eric sookie and bill session wow sparkly vampires that go out in daylight is just plain wrong for me but the films werent too bad if you look past the sparkly girlyness of the vamps

I watched the first one a few years ago to see what the fuss was about and wasn't particularly impressed. Had my two nieces staying over last night and they wanted to watch the one that was on channel 4 so I thought I might as well.

What a load of tripe, slow paced, overlong and draining. It was so miserable. Hopefully I shall have no cause to revisit the series.

Never had any interest in delving into the Twilight universe, tbh(vampires don't sparkle, dammit!!).

Best screen vampire for me is probably Chris Sarandon's Jerry Dandridge from the original Fright Night

I beg to differ...the vampire Eric Northman played by Alexander Skarsgard is the best vampire and oh so fucking sexy to boot!
