I got tinkering with a new idea and a very old idea recently. I wasn't too surprised at how different the old idea was: ain't that guy anymore, but the genre was surprising: it wouldn't jump at me these days.
Would that book inside you be a different theme to the book you might write when you were younger? Or has it always been The Thing You Want To Say?
