I posted this in Corona forum, but it has really hit a nerve with me so posting here too.
Just heard a heart breaking story on radio. They had a segment on other day about there being a rise in domestic abuse and violence due to lockdown.. A young boy heard it while a home cooped up in his room for a week. Said boy, packed his bag and turned up at radio station in his pj's.
There will be thousands of children in similar situation, and women and men. Thoughts go out to those in horrible situations where feel trapped in awful conditions. |

There will be a mental health boom the longer this goes on which is why I urged my fb friends not to rant and rage and post negative stuff..if they continued they re deleted. This is a sad sad story and is familiar to me, my past so my heart and hugs go out to those struggling in any way with enforced isolation.  |

Sorry for posting this, I know it is rather negative, but as you, this story is rather close to home for me. And would rather make sure that as many people as possible aware of this kind of thing. Sorry to put people on a downer, butvas said before, it really hit a nerve. I'd take to poor tyke in if I could  |
