I followed all sorts of trends, never with any real integrity, just because I wanted to be different, and cause a stir. I was a goth, a raver, punk, soon as every one else started doing it, I'd move onto the next one!!

Ohhhhh yeah hippie, had dreads at one point, my mum went mental! Not even a full head, just 2! Told her I wanted to be a new age traveler and live in a bus when I was old enough.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

New Romantic - frilly shirts, jodphurs, Dad's suits taken in on the sewing machine, leather mini skirt that Dad wouldn't let me go out in so I used to take it to my mates to get changed, Ska - baggy trousers and trilbies

Now I love all sorts of music (apart from most of the 90's which seems to have passed me by - mebbe cos I was still married then?????) and I dress to suit myself, rather than a passing fashion

I still am, when you don't change the way you dress for 30 + years you also have the added bonus of being able to look back old photos and, instead of cringing over your ridiculous eighties looks, you can instead think "I wish I still had that shirt!" lol

I was into the New Skool Skate Punk and Ska Punk stuff when I was at College and Uni

Baggie Jeans, Ruck Sacks Skateboards wallet on a chain and DC/Vans trainers listening to NOFX, Pennywise, The Offspring

The girls at the rick/punk clubs would all wear baggy jeans with underwear showing (usually boy pants) and tight vests and loved experimenting with other women - fun fun times!

I've never really been in to any faddy fashion or subcultures, just take what I like from them and mix it in.
