Daughter has just come back from essential food shop and says loads of people are still going in pairs only one should be going in FFS people are dying fast when are we going to be sensible as possible, it looks like total lock down is inevitable. If you are that disabled you cant manage to shop on your own then stay home and ask someone FFS it is not hard. She says the main culprits are silly old sods when they should be setting an example to irresponsible young uns. |

I was speaking to a worker in Asda on Sunday. She asked if I was alright cause I looked anxious. Explained that I’ve never done the food shop alone before. Always do it with my husband as he drives, so I need him to come with me either way. Told her it’s fine, just the whole ‘doing it under these circumstances’ was a bit overwhelming, but he has asthma so he’s in the car with my baby.
Then told her my local Morrisons was only allowing one person per trolley.
She told me stores can’t actually legally enforce that. It’s to be encouraged, but they can’t stop it.
I’m more than capable of doing a food shop alone btw, in case someone things I’m being immature. But I’ve had a banging migraine for a week, feel anxious as fuck and was well aware I had left my husband in the car with our grumpy baby so just felt overwhelmed and anxious as shit
If they live in the same household, it doesn’t really matter. As long as they are following social distancing rules. Which, my local Morrisons isn’t enforcing - despite only allowed one in at a time! |

"But if they live together, what does it matter?"
This is what I'm thinking?
And they stay the recommended distance from others. Maybe they are shopping for more others. So there maybe 2 together but they could x 4 shoppings. Who knows |

I know a couple who are doing food shops for FOUR different families in their street.
But they were allowed to buy it all in a oner.
So they had to buy one set. Put it in the boot. Then queue up outside again. Then do that again, and again, and again. Ridiculous |

You be missing the point and that is to minimise the amount of people out in public possibly catching the virus and spreading it to others, common sense surely that the less people in a supermarket the easier it is for social distancing, the fact that you live together any way has sweet sod all to do with it. |
